8.1 Notice of Motion - Allocation of Funding

I, Adele Gardner (Te Hiku Community Board Chair) give notice that at the next Te Hiku Community Board meeting to be held on 14 July 2020, I intend to move the following motion:

That the Te Hiku Community Board allocates $24,100 from the 2020/2021 Community Grants Fund and $33,300 from the 2020/2021 Placemaking Fund to XCape Design Limited.

Rationale
The Te Hiku Community Board hae identified six projects that require forward planning for the next Long Term Plan 2021-2031. The Te Hiku Community Board invited XCape Design Limited to quote on this work, including community consultation. The Board intends to allocate the funds from the 2020/2021 Community Grant Fund Account and the 2020/2021 Plaemaking Fund, for the forward planning work for these projects.
I commend this Notice of Motion to the Te Hiku Community Board for consideration.
