Noted that there are a few missing BAU reports that would usually be on Te Koukou agenda that will be circulated via Friday Notices this week.

· John Ellis, Wade Rousell and John Tetley spoke representing the Kerikeri Mens Shed who are seeking to acquire land neighbouring Te Puāwaitanga to build a new Mens Shed.
At 10:06 AM Kōwhai – Deputy Mayor Kelly Stratford arrived at the meeting.
· Steve Sanson presented to the committee about the current housing development in progress on Bisset Road, Kaikohe which is a project of Te Hau Ora o Ngāpuhi.

Resolution 2025/82 Moved: Kahika Moko Tepania Seconded: Kōwhai - Deputy Mayor Kelly Stratford That Te Koukou – Transport and Infrastructure Committee: a. revoke resolution 2025/32 passed at Te Koukou – Transport and Infrastructure Committee meeting held 23 April 2025 where the Committee resolved to: i. fund a permanent zebra crossing site per option 2 at the schools; ii. fund a temporary crossing point at the location of the Ōkaihau town centre following consultation with the community as per option 1; and iii. that the final detailed final costings be presented to this committee and fall within the estimated cost outlined in the report. b. fund up to four temporary road humps located along the urban section of Settlers Way, Ōkaihau; and c. require that the final detailed costings be presented to this Committee and fall within the estimated cost of $300,000.
