PRESENT:              Chairperson John Vujcich, Deputy Chairperson Gordon Shaw, Cr Ann Court, Cr Rachel Baucke, Cr Davina Smolders, Cr Felicity Foy, (Ex-officio Member) Kahika - Mayor Moko Tepania,

IN ATTENDANCE: Kohepu – Deputy Mayor Chicky Rudkin, Cr Arohanui Allen, Cr Kelly Stratford. Far North Holdings Ltd Representatives: Andy Nock (Chief Executive), Lisa Parkes (Chief Financial Officer), Rob Binney (Chief Operating Officer), Sarah Petersen (Chairperson), Jane Frances (Director), Tony Sewell (Director)

1            Karakia Timatanga / Opening Prayer

Chair John Vujcich commenced the meeting and Kahika Mayor Moko Tepania opened with a Karakia.

2            Ngā Whakapāha Me Ngā Pānga Mema / Apologies and Declarations of Interest  

Nicole Anderson (Far North Holdings) and Kevin Drinkwater (Far North Holdings).

3            Ngā Tono Kōrero / Deputation

There were no deputations for this meeting.

4            Te Wāhanga Tūmataiti / Public Excluded

RESOLUTION TO EXCLUDE THE PUBLIC

Resolution  2026/1

Moved:       Cr Ann Court

Seconded:  Chairperson John Vujcich

That the public be excluded from the following parts of the proceedings of this meeting.

And that Far North Holdings Representatives be allowed to remain in the Public excluded portion of the meeting.

The general subject matter of each matter to be considered while the public is excluded, the reason for passing this resolution in relation to each matter, and the specific grounds under section 48 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 for the passing of this resolution are as follows:

4.1 - Far North Holdings Limited - CCO Performance Report	s7(2)(h) - the withholding of the information is necessary to enable Council to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, commercial activities	s48(1)(a)(i) - the public conduct of the relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist under section 6 or section 7
4.2 - Letter of Expectation to Far North Holdings Limited	s7(2)(h) - the withholding of the information is necessary to enable Council to carry out, without prejudice or disadvantage, commercial activities	s48(1)(a)(i) - the public conduct of the relevant part of the proceedings of the meeting would be likely to result in the disclosure of information for which good reason for withholding would exist under section 6 or section 7

At the conclusion of the Public Excluded part of the meeting Te Koekoeā Committee for Council Controlled Organisations confirms the information and decisions contained in the part of the meeting held with public excluded remain in public excluded, noting that the Chief Executive has delegated authority to release such information when deemed appropriate.

Kahika – Mayor Moko Tepania closed the meeting with a Karakia.
