PRESENT:              Kahika Moko Tepania, Cr Steve McNally, Kōwhai - Deputy Mayor Kelly Stratford, Cr Felicity Foy (virtual), Cr Hilda Halkyard-Harawira, Cr Babe Kapa (virtual), Cr Penetaui Kleskovic (virtual), Cr Mate Radich (virtual), Cr John Vujcich.

IN ATTENDANCE: Chicky Rudkin (Chairperson of Kaikohe-Hokianga Community Board), Adele Gardner (Chairperson of Te Hiku Community Board)(virtual), Belinda Ward (Chairperson of Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community Board)(virtual).

CONFIRMATION OF INFORMATION AND DECISIONS TO BE RELEASED IN PUBLIC

At the conclusion of the public excluded discussion, the Committee confirmed the following decision be restated in public meeting as follows:

Hihi Wastewater Treatment Plant Contract 7/23/500 Variation

That Te Koukou approve:

a)      A variation to Contract 7/23/500 Hihi Temporary Tankage Upgrade to increase the contract value to a maximum of $REDACTED

b)    And that Te Koukou Transport and Infrastructure Committee request the Chief Executive Officer (or his representative) engage an independent auditor to report back to Council on this contract based on the scope and terms of the engagement that will be defined by the Chair and Deputy Chair of Te Koukou Transport and Infrastructure and Te Miromiro Assurance Risk and Finance Committees.

Kahika/Mayor Moko Tepania closed the meeting with a karakia.

The meeting closed at 11:55am.
