Funding Applications Item 8.4 a) That the Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community Board approve the sum of $5,000 (plus GST if applicable) be paid from the Boards Placemaking Fund account to Bay of Islands Animal Rescue Trust for the costs towards fit-out of a desexing caravan, to meet the community outcomes. i) Communities that are healthy, safe, connected and sustainable ii) Proud, vibrant communities lost NOTE: While the Board is sympathetic toward the applicant, they feel this funding lies outside of their remit and should be directed towards Council for ongoing funding through the Long-Term Plan. Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community Board can then support BOI Animal Rescue submission to the Long-Term Plan process.
